Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. She attended a private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. In her secondary education Ward first attended Ouachita High School, but later transferred into River Oaks High School during the summer immediately following her Junior year. After a short period of time, after graduation, she enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward started modeling at the age of thirteen. She left school in order to relocate into New York. She decided to try acting in the following years. She first appeared on screen in 1970. an uncredited character in the soap opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC prime-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. Ward was cast in her debut performance on the Sunset Beach daytime soap opera in which she played romantically virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, she began a film career. She starred as a character in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. Although the movie failed to earn money at the theatre, it was successful on cable television and DVD. Ward then played an important supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Her other acting credits include numerous direct-to-DVD films and the role of a guest on TV series, such as Friends. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of an unnamed gymna in on the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It which was part of the main cast for the show's first two seasons. For her private life, she's married to David C. Robinson. They have a son named Cameron.
